JUDE GRACE WORKS is a nature-based art practice shaped by wandering, gathering, close observation and the memory of place.

Jude works with leaves, bark, seed pods, petals and other organic fragments gathered from the landscape, composing them into abstract works that sit between design, documentation and visual composition.

Her practice is informed by postgraduate study in anthropology, mixed heritage, a transient life across diverse landscapes, and previous work in cross-cultural brand and travel. These experiences shape her interest in permanence and impermanence, symbolism, and the ways places are remembered, interpreted and carried through material forms.

Following profound loss, immersion in the natural world and the gathering of fallen fragments became a way of processing grief and finding continuity and beauty within change.

Her work explores the memory of place: the often overlooked details of landscape, the lived experience of moving through it, and the meanings we attach to the forms we encounter. Through repetition, tone, balance and texture, these fleeting observations are gathered, ordered and made visible.
